My Very First Solo "Art" Show

Dear Reader,

 

I had my solo sh#t show opening last night, and it was fun.  The mostest fun part was the people who came in through the door to get out of the cold and look at the sh#t in the room.  EMily took pictures of the people wearing these façade things I made, so they looked liked they were part of the wallpaper.  I guess when they wore these façade things, they became part of the room, part of the sh#t. 

 

I made a crassly commercial video of the inanimate sh#t in the show, but like a doofus, I didn't video the people smiling and having their goofy photos made.  So they're not in the video, but the photos of them will appear somewhere soon, and of course I'll clog up your inbox with the link to those.

Paulette's Sh#t Show is Tonight, Fri, Mar 2, 2012

Dear Stunningly Beautiful or Breathtakingly Handsome fan of mine,

 

 

I'm still having my Visual Art show tonight at

 

Smokey's Tangle

4709 Telegraph Ave

Oakland, CA

 

6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

 

 

I was super duper excited about the show until I got a letter in the mail yesterday telling me that my monthly COBRA charges will be about $600.00 per month since my corporate job hours were reduced, disqualifying me for company benefits until they are increased to over 23.5 hours a week.  And now I'm still super duper excited, but I feel a bit burdened.

 

If you come to the show and have any good healthcare consumer advice, please come up to me and let's talk.  I'm thinking of becoming a japanese citizen because of their low health insurance rates.  Cesium doesn't really bother me, and I can sing a japanese coca-cola commercial I learned in the 6th grade to entertain people there.

 

Hooray!!!

 

Tonight, I will be singing songs and playing guitar too, but I'll probably start playing close to 9 p.m. because I want to see how things are going in general and be able to say hi to people such as YOU who might come.  And don't expect some huge f#cking set because I don't know how I'll feel after being so damn social, interacting with people who I might not even know.
